The Glacier National Park Experience – Taking Podcasting into the Wilderness
“When you get out of the ordinary, you open the door to the extraordinary.”
This episode kicks off an adventure I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. It combines wilderness, creativity, and a little bit of podcasting magic. I’m heading into Glacier National Park with Jeff Noel to record episodes of his show If Disney Ran Your Life. We will record a few for this one, too.
Why are we doing this? Because the best ideas come when you leave your comfort zone. When you change the environment, you change the experience. Jeff and I are taking that literally. We’re backpacking into the backcountry to record raw, meaningful conversations without scripts, without polished intros, and without limits.
I’m calling this an experiment: three to five episodes recorded on the trail, released consecutively over the next few days. It’s about content and creativity in motion. And it’s a reminder that podcasting isn’t bound to a studio. You can take your message anywhere.
If you’re wondering what it looks like to say “yes” to something unusual, you’re about to find out. This week will take you behind the scenes of what happens when two friends, two microphones, and one national park collide.
